Hello, beautiful soul.
Happy Mother’s Day.
Today, I don’t just want to celebrate the mothers who are surrounded by flowers and breakfast in bed—though that’s lovely.
Today, I want to speak to you.
The woman who mothers through the pain.
The one who has learned to smile, even with tears hiding behind her eyes.
This is for you.
You see, motherhood isn’t just about biology.
It’s about nurturing—about pouring out of yourself even when no one is pouring into you.
It’s about being the safe place when you feel unsafe yourself.
It’s about helping others heal while you’re still nursing your own wounds.
Some of you are… Mothering through a broken marriage, where love has gone silent, or worse—turned to betrayal.
Mothering through singlehood, wearing the hats of both mum and dad, stretching coins and courage to make it work.
Mothering children with special needs, or who are distant or rebellious, wondering if all your effort is in vain.
Mothering your siblings, your church family, your community, even when your own tank is nearly empty.
But can I remind you of something powerful today?
God sees you.
Not just what you do—but what it costs you to do it.
And He is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love (Hebrews 6:10).
In fact, the Bible says:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” (Proverbs 31:25)
That’s not just a poetic verse—it’s a promise.
You, dear sister, are clothed with strength—not because you always feel strong, but because God wraps you in His strength daily.
You are clothed with dignity—not because others treat you right, but because your identity is hidden in Christ.
You may be weary, but you’re not weak.
You may be invisible to people, but you’re deeply known by God.
Today, I speak peace over you.
I speak healing over your heart.
I speak rest to your soul.
You are not forgotten.
You are not too far gone.
And your best days—yes, even after all you’ve been through—are still ahead.
So, to every woman listening today—whether you’re a mother by birth, by adoption, by mentorship, or by spiritual calling…
We celebrate you.
You are more than enough.
You are a builder, a healer, a hope-carrier.
Take a moment today to breathe.
To smile.
To receive love.
And most importantly—to remind yourself:
“I am still here… and I am still worthy.”
Happy Mother’s Day. 🌸💖
